OSS VAT PrepComing soon

OSS VAT return preparation for EU sellers, without the quarterly spreadsheet.

Your OSS VAT return, country by country, from the sales export you already have.

How it works

  1. 01

    Import sales

Upload a CSV from Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon or Stripe. Map the columns once; the mapping is saved for next quarter.

  2. 02

    Check the classification

Each line gets a destination country and a rate, with the rate table version and source shown. Fix exceptions in a review screen.

  3. 03

    Export the return

Per-country totals in the OSS portal's format, ready for you or your accountant to file, plus an audit trail PDF of every rate applied.

What you get: A per-country OSS breakdown in your national portal's format, with an audit trail of every rate applied.

Who it is for

EU sellers above the €10,000 cross-border B2C threshold, sellers whose provider stopped filing OSS returns this year, and small accounting firms with e-commerce clients.

Not for sellers whose marketplace collects VAT on all their sales, nor for IOSS (imports up to €150, monthly return) at launch.

Questions

Do you file the return?
No. You get the per-country breakdown in the portal's format and submit it yourself or hand it to your accountant. Direct filing depends on each member state's portal and is not in v1. The OSS itself is extended on 1 July 2028 under ViDA; we will follow that change.
When is the OSS return due?
Quarterly, by the end of the month after the quarter: 30 April, 31 July, 31 October and 31 January. The deadline does not move when it falls on a weekend or public holiday. A nil return is still required for a quarter with no sales.
Does the €10,000 threshold apply per country?
No. It is EU-wide, excluding VAT, and measured over the current and the previous calendar year. Once you pass it, destination-country VAT applies to every cross-border B2C sale.
How are rates kept current?
The rate table is maintained from the official national rules, and every export shows the version applied. On 1 January 2026 no standard rate changed, but reduced rates or their scope changed in eleven member states. You set a product category once per product; the table maps it to the reduced rate where one exists.
What if I find a mistake after filing?
OSS corrections go into a later return, within three years of the original due date. The audit trail shows which rate and table version were applied to each line, so you know exactly what to correct.
My provider stopped filing OSS returns this year. Can I start mid-year?
Yes. Import the current quarter's sales and you have the breakdown for the next deadline. Earlier quarters can be imported too, so the audit trail is complete. Filing itself stays with you or your accountant.
