ScopeLogComing soon

Every “can you just…” logged, priced and signed off.

Stop giving away the small asks. Log the scope creep, price it, get the change order signed.

Forward the client email or Slack thread. ScopeLog matches it to the agreed scope and flags what is out. You confirm the hours; it drafts the change order and the client signs from a link. At month end you see the hours each client got for free.

How it works

  1. 01

    Import the scope

Paste the proposal or upload the PDF. ScopeLog turns it into a checklist of what is in and what is not.

  2. 02

    Forward the asks

Forward the client email or Slack message. Each ask is matched to the checklist and flagged in or out, with an hour estimate you adjust.

  3. 03

    Send the change order

A change order on your template, with your rate and an e-signature link. Once signed, it joins the project record.

What you get: A signed change order for the extra work, or a per-client creep report: hours given away against hours billed.

Who it is for

Digital, design and marketing agencies with 3 to 30 people, and consultants or dev shops on fixed-price engagements.

Not a project-management tool, a time tracker or a construction change-order system. It sits beside the tools you already use.

Questions

Is an e-signed change order legally binding?
Yes. Under eIDAS Article 25, a simple electronic signature cannot be denied legal effect in the EU or UK solely because it is electronic. Its weight as evidence rests on the audit trail, so ScopeLog records the signer's email, IP address, timestamp and document hash. Check that your master agreement does not require a named signatory or a specific form for amendments.
How does ScopeLog decide what is out of scope?
It compares each ask with the scope checklist and proposes a flag. You confirm or overrule it. You stay the judge.
Does the client need an account?
No. The client receives a link, reviews the change order and signs on any device.
We already run an agency-management or project tool. Why this?
Most of those tools charge per user and treat scope as a budget line. None of them produces the document that gets the extra hours paid: a change order the client has signed. ScopeLog sits beside them, with email forwarding and Slack at launch and project-tool integrations following founding-customer demand.
How much work do agencies actually give away?
No benchmark measures the hours. The closest figures: in Ignition's 2025 survey of US agencies, 57% said they lose $1,000 to $5,000 a month to scope creep. In the 2018 Function Point and Agency Management Institute survey, agencies reported over-servicing clients by 52% on average. ScopeLog's creep report gives you your own number.
What happens if the product does not ship?
You are refunded in full if we have not shipped by 31 March 2027, or on request at any time before launch.
